Delta gets a Big Ball from Santa!

All the doggies were nestled by the fire waiting for Santa to come in the front door, as we don’t quite have a chimney for Santa to climb down. Not a creature was stirring, just the new gerbils – chewing on their wood blocks and spinning their wheels. Santa was so quiet, not even the dogs woke, but Christmas morning there were pig rolls and chews waiting for the doggies! And . . . . a fluffly big ball for Delta!
We have now had this ball over 24 hours and it is still intact! I can’t believe it – a ball she actually has not torn apart into shreds. She actually really likes this ball – it’s soft to grip, it squeaks, and she even lays her head on it as a pillow – a very functional gift indeed! It’s not exactly a gigle ball, but it’s nice in the house as it doesn’t bounce high and it is much quieter than the usual harsh squeaking of the gigle balls that we have – thank goodness.
Delta looking at her new ball as if it were going to move all by itself. I love the way she will bat at it with her paws and make her own fun. Then when the ball doesn’t interest her, she’ll bring it over to us for a game of fetch! What’s nice about this ball is – you can also throw it in the wash – Yeah! One clean toy in the house!
