Summer fun with the GSD’s!

Seems like we went right from Winter to Summer this year – instead of a gradual increase in temperatures, Spring started out with 80-90 degree temps and now that we are into Summer, it has been in the high 80-90 steadily. The dogs love to play ball, so having the pond to take a soak in is really nice to cool down.

My dogs just love the water and it’s a great way to exercise them without overheating them. I can’t tell you how many balls have been torn up and are at the bottom of the pond, but I know we go through many balls as everyone has to have one of their own.

That’s all for now, more on herding next week. I hope I remember to bring my camera. The lambs are growing nicely on the wonderful lush pasture and we are starting to move them as a group now since the lambs are finally getting the hang of sticking together. Lambs are so unpredictable.
