Anyone for a game of fetch!
Thanksgiving is a wonderful time of year to give thanks for all that we have. We are so lucky to have a wonderful family, good friends, wonderful doggies, good health, and happiness. We feel fortunate in these hard times to still have a roof over our head, food on the table, and wonderful children to spend our lives with. We also have our dogs who are a big part of who we are and what we enjoy. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful things in our life.
Time to play with the doggies in the snow!
Today is really the start of Winter for me. It is always the time that I start putting logs in the wood burning stove to heat up the old farm house and a time that we all love to take our dogs for long walks out in the pasture so we can play ball with them and let them romp around. Today was a surprise, as we our having our first snow. How exciting!
Aiko enjoying the snow!
The snow is really coming down pretty heavy, but it is not too cold outside to be staying around long. It is a beautiful sight to behold though when your looking out the window. The sheep don’t quite know what to make of the snow, so they are still hanging out in the barn. Meanwhile the dogs are having a blast running around in it. They love this cool weather!

Last of the pumpkins for the sheep!
Our sheep have been enjoying fresh pumpkins everyday since Halloween. Our neighbor is a hay farmer and he always gives us his remaining pumpkins from his patch to feed our sheep. We are so thankful to have such wonderful neighbors and friends. There is nothing better than having farmers for neighbors. They are always sharing their harvest and always there to help you when you need it. We have made such terrific friends here at the farm.
