Enjoying the arrival of a real snow fall!

Winter has arrived!

Last night we had our first real snow storm and today the dogs are really enjoying it. Aiko and the gang are having fun just running around in the fluffy stuff. We had at least 6 to 8 inches of snow last night with wind gusts up to 30 mph. It it quite brisk out, but the dogs are loving it! We have lost a few giggle balls out in the snow, but the dogs are working on retrieving them.

Delta is such a hog when it comes to playing with the giggle ball. She will grab onto it where ever she can get a hold of it in hopes she will be able to maneuver it out of the other dog’s mouth.
Delta found the green ball, but Arla lost the red one! The hunt is on!
Time for a free for all game of fetch!
I love this time of year — the dogs really enjoy running around and having fun playing in the pastures! More pictures to come soon with the dogs herding the sheep in the snow. I can’t wait! It is such a beautiful time of year !
