Kleinen Wiese’s Newest Addition – Delta

Posted By on September 20, 2009

We are so pleased to have little Delta from our most current “D” litter.  She is out of our very own Arla von der Kleinen Wiese and Hawk vom Eichenluft.  She is just a beautiful gal with lots of spirit and get up and go!  She is also showing us she loves to work.  My son has started Delta tracking since she was 7 1/2 weeks old and she is doing fantastic and loves the work.  She shows us that strong desire to work and when she does, she is calm and focused.   She is now 12 weeks old already – hard to believe.

My youngest son, Will, selected Delta as his new puppy to teach tracking, obedience and even wants to try her in agility.  She is so eager to please and loves to learn new things; my son is really enjoying her.  I can tell she is going to be that same type of high drive dog her mother is and will be lots of fun to train.

We are hoping Delta will grow up to show us the same things we look for in all our dogs, strong work ethic, willingness to please, biddability, intelligence and solid temperament.

If Delta develops as we would love her to, she will hopefully be the start of our next generation.  Keep an eye on this girl – she is full of zip.

Over the next year, we’ll be watching over the ”D” litter to see how they come along.  I am very excited because over 1/2 of this litter went to homes where they will be in some type of dog sport/work environment.  I know these dogs will be family members and have very full lives.
