Giggle Ball Mania

Delta loves Giggle Balls too!
One thing that is for sure is my dogs just love “Giggle” balls. These balls are heavy duty and are practically indestructile for GSD’s – which is good for us. The only thing that can be annoying is their squeak. Our dogs love them – the louder, the better! Even little Delta has taken on a new love for these balls. They even float in our pond, so you can throw them in the water and the dogs have a blast running in and retrieving them.

Aiko and Delta - It's a good thing I have more than one giggle ball!
Aiko and Arla both are giggle ball hogs, so when Delta gets one, it seems to be her lucky day. Delta loves to play with the big dogs and loves the challenge of trying to get the big dog’s toy. We bought little Dela a nice stuffed toy and that lasted about two days – the stuffing was pulled out, the squeaker was ripped out and it was just piles of stuffing all over – we’ll no more stuffed toys for them. These guys really do love their toys and whatever they can find to play with.

Delta trying my shasta daisies out for size - hmmmm - these are fun too!
It’s no wonder my garden is not what it used to be – - when you have puppy teeth testing out the flowers! UG! When we had all nine pups on the ground, my flowers didn’t have a chance – I guess there is always next year!

Giggle Ball collection.
Here is an extremely rare scene at our house – Delta with two giggle balls. The big doggies just happened to be sleeping and so she collected a few for herself while she had the chance. It’s a good thing her jaws can’t get around these big giggle balls yet – for if they squeaked, the other giggle ball hounds in the house would soon be awake and rob her of these fine treasures!
If you want to get your dog a fun toy – these big rubber balls are great – but be ready for the noise of the squeaker. When we first got these toys, my husband broke all the squeakers on purpose since our dogs would just mouth them and make them squeak, and squeak and squeak! It’s really not a great sound when your trying to watch a show on TV, but it’s not bad outside in the backyard!
