Our Kennel name is Kleinen Wiese which is German for Little Meadow.  We have a small farm in Montgomery County Pennsylvania, Little Meadow Sheep Farm, where we raise tending German Shepherd Dogs and registered Border Leicester Sheep.  Our interest is to preserve the natural herding ability of German Shepherds.  We use our dogs to handle stock on our farm, both for barn chores and also for tending in an open meadow across the road.  In 2005 we had our first litter of puppies and we are very excited at the level of herding instinct that they have shown.  The dogs have a strong interest in work and eagerly look for opportunities to work with their handler.
